Jane joined the Criminal Litigation Team at THB as a Newly Qualified Solicitor in August 2010.

Jane studied Criminology at The University of Nottingham before proceeding to complete a Law Degree and Legal Practice course at Anglia Ruskin University.

Whilst studying at University, Jane worked as a volunteer mentoring criminal offenders in the community.

Prior to joining THB Jane completed her Training Contract at a firm in Southend-on-Sea where she specialised in Criminal Litigation.

Prior to qualifying, Jane regularly represented clients at the Police Station and has obtained full Police Station Accreditation. Jane is a qualified Duty Solicitor appearing regularly in the Magistrates' Court.

Jane also has a keen interest in Prison Law and is currently developing her knowledge in this field.

She enjoys advocacy and, in time, hopes to obtain her Higher Rights of Audience in order to represent clients' interests in the Crown Court.

Jane's personal interests include volunteering on Hospital Radio as a Presenter, watching live music with friends and swimming.
