Lee Wilcockson


 

Lee qualified as a solicitor in 1998. He worked for a leading Essex criminal law firm before joining THB in 2011.

He has worked defending those accused of criminal matters for over ten years and has dealt with all types of cases ranging from traffic matters to murder.

After gaining experience in the Youth Court, he became a well established advocate in many courts around Essex and the South East.

Lee became a Higher Court Advocate in 2005 and has conducted his own trials in the Crown Court and has conducted his own advocacy before the Court of Appeal.

Lee regularly prosecutes for the Security Industry Authority, is a Duty Solicitor and a member of the Criminal Law Solcitors Association ( CLSA ) ,the London Criminal Courts Solicitor's Association ( LCCSA ) and the Soilictors Association of Higher Court Advocates ( SAHCA ).

His caseload routinely includes serious violence, inc att murders, all manner of sexual offences and the full range of public order offences and dishonesty matters.

Lee has recently represented a man accused of historic sexual abuse on his daughter, where she had a child by her father, and was involved in representing a defendant in a multi million pound, multi-defendant benefit fraud, where his client was acquitted at the close of the prosecution case.

Away from work, Lee’s interests include animal husbandry, playing the ukulele, collecting rusty classic vehicles and growing beards.
