Having experienced several areas of law Alexandra found a keen interest in Family Law and has not looked back since.
Alexandra deals with all aspects of private Family Law. This includes disputes involving children, who they spend time with and live with, domestic abuse, divorce, financial settlement and cohabitee disputes. Alexandra has also been involved in applications for enforcement of financial orders following divorce proceedings, enforcement of child arrangement orders, appeals and orders for sale in respect of cohabiting couples. Alexandra is often instructed to draft financial orders following agreements reached between separating couples, is recommend by the Essex Police Federation and is experienced in dealing with Police Pensions. Alexandra undertakes her own advocacy where possible.
Alexandra is committed to reaching resolutions in a non-confrontational way. She encourages clients to consider the needs of the whole family and in particular the best interests of the children. She is able to assist most of her clients in reaching an amicable agreement without the need of attending court. Enjoying all aspects of Family Law, Alexandra prides herself on providing clear and realistic advice and has great compassion when helping clients at very difficult times.
Alexandra started life in the legal profession as a legal secretary in 2006 and has worked her way up through the ranks. Working full time and studying part time with CILEx Law School, Alexandra successfully completed the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives Professional Diploma in Law and Practice and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer in October 2014. By training in this way, it has provided Alexandra with years of valuable experience which she was able to gain alongside her studies.
Alexandra is a member of Resolution, the association of family lawyers, and is committed to resolving disputes in a non-confrontational way. She also sits on the YResolution committee as Vice Chair which supports local junior lawyers.
