Solicitor - Family Department - Chelmsford  

 

Taylor Haldane Barlex LLP seeks an enthusiastic and keen newly qualified to 2 years PQE solicitor to join the expanding family team based in Chelmsford.  Applicants will be able to work efficiently, as part of a team, being responsible for their own case load to include divorce and matrimonial finance, private and public children law and non molestation orders. Experience of legal aid and advocacy is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Salary is negotiable and dependant on experience.

Childcare Solicitor - Chelmsford or Ipswich Office 

 

Childcare Solicitor is required to be based in our Chelmsford or Ipswich office for a fixed term 1 year maternity cover.  The role will be varied and wide ranging within the field of public and private children’s law. Experience essential in managing a full caseload.  

Experience in Legal Aid Supervision or Membership of the Children’s Panel is preferred but not essential.

Experienced in undertaking the majority of your own advocacy, managing and taking responsibility for your own caseload with an understanding of legal aid.  Ideally experience of CCMS however this is not essential and full training will be provided if necessary.
Able to work alone using your own initiative as well as part of a team, be well organised and efficient.

You will be active and innovative with regards to marketing this area of law to develop your own caseload. 

Access to your own transport is essential. 

Salary dependant on experience.
